Note	1846 tithe records show "Widow Holdsworth" living at that location. A newspaper article written when John Holdsworth's house was for sale stated that his Bendigo house reflected his home in England. This is the only big house he lived in in England and while the front does not reflect the Bendigo property the side does show two gables.
