Peter Chadwick, the photographer who provided the church photo under Creative Commons also provided this information,

"St. Michael & All Angels Church, Bishop's Cleeve, Glos This is the Anglican Parish Church of Bishop's Cleeve, viewed from School Road. The church was built by the Normans in 1170 on the site of an earlier Saxon church. As is usually the case, there have been many additions and alterations over the many centuries which have passed since its construction. Most notable perhaps was that the church tower collapsed into the chancel in 1698 and was rebuilt in 1700. In late Victorian times the church was in very poor condition, so a large restoration project was undertaken, which extended well into the 20th century."
