Ralph Bigland visited Wickwar in the late 1780s recording information about the church and the inscriptions both within it and in the graveyard. His inscription includes a Thomas Worral who died in 1710 and could possibly be Thomas' son baptised at Charfield in 1631. An Historic England reference online stated that Mary had a draped marble plaque.
