Fact: John Ramsay alias Dix is recorded in Alumni Cantabrigienses part 1 Vol. 2, 1922 and also the Clergy of the Church of England Database have identified Frances Merry's husband being the same person who graduated from Cambridge University in 1625 becoming a deacon and priest. At this stage I'm not convinced they are the same person due to lack of corroborating evidence.
