It is known that records were not entirely accurate and I have noted a number of mistakes in her children's records. However, there was a newspaper report of her death in 1955. Jan 2026 A death certificate now found showing that Sheila died at the County House, a place for babies, unmarried mothers, infirm and elderly in Stranorlar in 1955 in accordance with the newspaper report.
