No marriage found. The Goldie children were the beneficiaries of Thomas Robertson's not inconsiderable estate. All children were referred to in his will by full name including "Robertson Goldie" and were living with him when he made his will. Perhaps there was a relationship between himself and the children's mother or perhaps he simply took on a protective role. Parentage of the youngest child is unclear with absence of a birth record and father not recorded on her 1891 death certificate when her mother was available to provide such information.
